Garbage Bag pokemon? Okay… What’s next?
Couples days ago, all of new generation Pokemon leaked in the internet and most of fans searched for it. There are 155 new Pokemon.
For me, A Pokemon Freak, I just can say, “What a garbage!”
Why? Hmmm… Okay. Let me show you one by one why I don’t really like this new generation of Pokemon:
#1 Tsutarja Evolution Line
The evolution line is just… make NONSENSE. The final evolution doesn’t have any foot and hands. WHAT A JOKE! What happen to its foot and hands? Did Tustarja break it so the doctor must cut it? Who knows!
#2 Fire Starter Did It Again!
For the trice, the fire starter is a fire type and fight type Pokemon. WE HAVE TORCHIC and CHIMCAR. Please stop make other “same” Pokemon. So, please enough with FIRE-FIGHT TYPE!!!
#3 Clown, Hero, Swampert?
Look at the water starter, Mijumaru. Mijumaru just like a clown! But, its look is pretty cool when it evolves to Futachimaru. But, the last evolution ruins everything!!! SWAMPERT WITH HORN! Oh God… It is so unoriginal!
#4 Lady Gaga on Pokemon?
Look at Hiyakey. It just like ….. It is so GAGA!
#5 More Slowpoke Pokemon But Worse
That Pig, Munna, evolves to Musharna. Why Musharna always sleep? Is it too lazy to wake up? Is it lazier than Slowpoke? USELESS! And its looks is so UGLY!
#6 Metagross Copycat.
Dangoro, Gantoru, Gigaiasu. All of them are bad. Metagross family is better.
#7 Chansey Sister?
Tabunne… Are you Chansey sister or maybe Cleafairy sister? Or maybe you just a wannabe of them.
#8 You are a fighter but a cheater
Dokkorar and its evolution line are completely a cheater. Are you fighting with wood, iron, and two big stones? Are you trying to cheat in the battlefield? Machamp is the best among you!
#9 Poliwag Goes Ugly.
Otamaro and its evolution line are just like fucking frog with ugly things on its body.
#10 Hitmonfuck?
Nageki and Dageki, you guys are not whet Pokemon looks like at all. JUST LIKE HUMAN!
#11 Zuru what?
Zuruggu and Zuruzukin… What are you? Are you a Pokemon or Fakemon?
#12 Another Unown. But with wings.
Shinporah… Unown is more simple than you and it is better than you. Case closed.
#13 Desumasu Pre-Evo
Desumasu, you are trash. Desukan is 100% better than you. How can you evolve to Deathkan?
#14 THE WORST OF EM. TRASH BAG POKEMON.
You are trash. You are junks. You are shit. Case closed.
#15 Ice Cream?
From tiny ice cream, to one scoop ice cream, and the last…. two scopes ice cream with a straw on its head. Haha. FUNNY!
#16 Bug to Steel
Kapurumo… Evolves to Shubarugo. Hmm… Where you get that outfit? Did you steel it from Hogwarts?
#17 I’m not a Pokeball, Not Yet A Mushroom (This sub-title make me wanna listen to Britney’s song)
Tamagetake is like WTF. Morobareru is just like Mankey but in mushroom form. SUCK! I hope Brok will cook you!
#18 Luvdisk Step-Mother?
Momanboh looks like Luvdisk right? But it is not Luvdisk evo. It can be Luvdisk step-mother or somewhat like that? Hmm…
#19 Pineco (Again)?
Tesshiido is completely a copy of Pineco. And its evolution, Nuttre, is an UFO but has torn and grasses around its body.
#20 How poor are you?
Gear evolves to Gear (but with big Gear behind it) and evolves again to Gear (but with a ring below it). Everytime you evolve, You just like add a new gear to your body, right? Just like Magnemite. but Magnemite is better!
#21 Sperm Pokemon?
Shibishirasu is just like sperm. Case closed!
#22 Non-Legend But Regi?
Riguree and Oobemu just like another Regis in this generation. But, worse than the original Regis. And they are not a legend. what a waste!
#23 Runny-nose Pokemon?
Don’t you have any tissue Kumashun?
#24 Glalie wannabe?
Freezio is completely a Glalie wannabe.
#25 What?
Chobomaki and Agirudaa. What kind of Pokemon are you? I don’t get it.
#26 Hitmonlee?
Maggyo is Hitmonlee’s head on fish form. Look at Maggyo’s face: UGLY!
#27 Worst Dragon Ever!
Kurimugan is the worst dragon I ever seen in Pokemon.
#28 YOU ARE NOT A POKEMON
Gobitto and Goruggo. You are a robot. But you are ground type and ghost type Pokemon. WHAT’S WRONG WITH THE POKEMON WORLD? (What kind of designer that design this FAKEMON?)
#29 Ughh!
Komatana and Kirikizan are just like guardian from Lord of The Ring
#30 Tauros, but Afro.
Buffuron is just like Tauros. Buffalon supposes to be Tauros’s boyfriend wannabe I think.
#31 Don’t look at me. PLEASE!
I can’t comment on this Pokemon (Kuitaran). UGLY!
#32 Ant but hard
Aianto is an ant but his body covered by steel. Cool. But, I don’t like it.
#33 Fighting Trio
Kobaruon, Terakion, Birijion just like Suicune, Raikou, and Entei wannabe. Birijion just like Shaymin’s mama. Terakion has Grandbull face and Donphan/Rhyhorn body! Kobaruon is the worst among the other.
#34 Another Legendary trio. Just different color.
Torunerosu, Borutorosu, and Randorosu… I want to ask you a question. WHO COPY WHO?
#35 Dialga but Hunachback
Kyuremu… Are you Dialga grandma/grandpa? You don’t have a great body at all.
#36 My pony!
Oh what a cute little pony. But, why do you love to fight? Ughh! I don’t like it. And you live in the water? DISGUSTING!
#37 Lady Gaga Is Legendary
Meloia, you remind me with Lady Gaga.
#38 DEOXYS has a pet
And Its name is Genosect. Oughh! what kind of Pokemon are you? I HATE IT!!!
Conclusion:
Most of them are the worst Pokemon that I’ve ever seen.
Bow to Generation I, II, III, and IV.
P.S.: I’m a Pokemon lover (and of course Lady Gaga little monster : ) ) but this generation ruins my life

Theyre scraping the bottom of the barrel with pokemon designs now. They were struggling in coming up with sort-of good ideas for the fourth Generation! Instead of having good pokemon, they have to make the pokemon look weird, cover them in patterns or decorations just to make them look semi unique…. Its annoying.
They should put their efforts into something less desperate.. I personally think they should remake the entire pokemon storyline into one GIANT game with personalisable characters and integrated pokemon in every area. Epic, no? XD

Finally, i found a place to air my frustrations. Honestly, this generation 5 thing is the worst ever. Looking at the new pokedex almost brought me to tears in disgust. Everything was fugly as hell, but what strikes me the most, is that OBVIUOSLY, all are recycled versions of old ones as if they are just photoshopped! TAUROS AFRO WHAT THE HECK! Im feeling very sad, considering that the pokemon team is dying after a decade of expending their vast popularity. Sadly, the pokemon franchise is about to die. Seriously, Why give the series the most painfully ugly end? Im a kid from the generation 1 so I know that the series is getting sicker with every remake. To the pokemon team, please give pokemon a dignified death that it truly deserves T_t

Not to sound like a Pokemon nerd (which I totally am) but I believe the similarities are intentional.
Gens I-IV took place in Japan, as shown here:

Gen V is taking place in the United States, New York City to be exact.
Assuming that you believe that all pokemon are related (which would make sense, considering evolutions and such) it would make sense that there are many similarities. If they all have the same DNA from Mew, they can certainly have traits that are similar.

Anyway, there are a lot of good looking ones with this new generation. The black and white legendaries are, to be honest, legendary. The best covers since Silver and Gold.
The starters are also an approvement from the last gen.

I lol’d pretty hard, and couldn’t agree more. This generation sports way more fugly/uncreative pokemon than it does interesting ones. Of course, every generation has had some that I personally did not like…eggsecute, voltorb, pineco etc but it seems like there are SO many more of these in gen V.
Also, I was disappointed the candle/chandelier didn’t make this list, as imo its right up there with garbage bag/trash heap and ice cream cones as THE worst in pokemon history.

The point here is not how related they are by mew’s dna like above comments mentioned but how ugly in practical way looking this things are, I mean look at them… people have eyes you know some old gen pokemon maybe weird like muk but the are “well drawn” look at them! Men its the most ugliest thing ever made, some say they going from pokemon to digimon and did I mentioned rockman was there… I hope they finally end the series in a proper manner. I too was there when pokemon was in the 1st gen I like the character development esp. Gary Oak with 10 badges even though 8 were only required and his convertible full of girls Nice, pokemon will never be the same

these games take place in Unova, a region that is far away form the first 4. It has a new ecosystem, they HAD to make a new fauna, and make the basic animals (dog, cat, frog, etc)
Vaivanilla (the ice cream mon) and Goruggu (the golem) are the first pokemon to be designed by an american, and they are very cretive in my opinion. Humans probably invented ice creams thinking of vaivanilla. Goruggu is a golem, an object crafted by a human and then animated by magic (which would explain the ghost/ground typing, because it isn’t acutally alive)
they had to make pokemon that replaced the originals, that’s why they made Koromori and Dangoro (the bad and rock pokemon that you’ll find in the caves) and Dageki/Nageki (the offensive and defensive fighting mons)
The starters were supposed to represent Japan (Oshawott), China (Tepig) and the West (Snivy)
Oshawott is a samurai that evolves into a Shogun (that’s why daikenki wears that armor, and the “armor” in its forefeet is actually a sheat, it has a sword in it as seen in some artwork
the pokedex entry says “Part of the armor on its forefeet is a sword; one swing of it can beat opponents”
Pokabu and its evolutions are based on a character from the “Journey to the West”, Zhu Bajie (Infernape is based on Sun Wukong, another character from the story), that’s why it has those marks on its body
Snivy and its evolutions are based on the nobles, people with a high status during the feudalism. Snivy’s line are snakes, they start as lizards who evolve into snakes (just like in real life)
The legendary Kamis are based on japanese kamis, Fujin and Raijin (the green and blue pokemon) but Landlos (the orange one) is based on a different kami that isn’t related to the other two. I usppose they just made him to complete the trio
Kapurumo evolving into a knight and Chobomaki into a ninja is really simple
they can only evolve if traded for the other pokemon. Japurumo steals chobomaki’s armor and evolves into Shubalgo, Chobomaki becomes a ninja tu survive (Agillder)

You’re completely correct. Everyone else is just delusional because its their favorite series. Even the target audience ten year olds can grow out of this has been franchise.
I would like to point out that some of the new gen. pokemon are made to be counterparts to old gen pokemon. Tabunne is the counterpart of chansey, that’s why they look similar, same with Nageki and Dageki and hitmochan and hitmonlee and the tauros copy. Riguree and Oobemu are closer to Baltoy and Claydol then the regi’s I feel.
Pokemon mirror animals and in the wild animals differ yet stay the same from country to country. An African elephant and an indian elephant look different but both look like elephants.
As for Nageki and Dageki being human shaped…so is the machop line and hitmochan and kirlia and gravedivoir.
Tsutarja Evolution Line is doing what the dratini evolution did in reverse. Except better because you can tell the final evolution actually fits with the first one in terms of body design and color scheme. Outside of the name, dratini and dragonite have nothing in common.
On the subject of Musharna, abra is also shown asleep, it sleeps 18 out of 24 hours. Perhaps you should also look into the reference behind Musharna and Munna before you start such a lame argument against them.
And as for researching, Kobaruon, Terakion, Birijion are based on the three musketeers. They are the legendary trio for this gen. and they don’t look anything like the legendary dogs, birds, regis or lake guardians.
Torunerosu, Borutorosu, and Randorosu are based on Kami’s and I’m pretty sure the spriter for GF just got lazy. And for that matter, Uxie, Mesprite and Azelf are basically the same pokemon but with different head wear, even down to typing and moves.

Personally, I just don’t see that. I get that you don’t like the designs, but the arguments that you come up for it are ridiculous. While I don’t like the looks of Dokkorar’s evo line, I’m not going to call them cheaters for carrying heavy materials that show how strong they are. Cubone and Marowak use bones in fighting and have helmets.

This is so much of a improvement in comparison with those, and most of the new ones are good enough to make me remember how pokemon (like the 1st and 2nd gen) are/were supposed to look like.
At least theyre trying new things for how the new gen looks, and are they trying new type combinations.

haha. i play pokemon but only the trading card game, sad to say i played only until the 3rd generation Blaziken and others (from base set to the delta species era).. i was planning to play the 4th generation but did not continue, because i have to start all over again (the 4th gen are just overpowering.. 3rd gen has no match in terms of tcg) i just want to point out that i noticed some unusual or rather for me, “ugly” pokemons in the 4th generation such as Gastrodon? (Shellos looks cute but its evolution not quite, and doesnt it resemble Lapras?!), Bidoof? Bibarel (what the heck honestly i hate this two..) Burmy on Plant Cloak is acceptable, Sandy Cloak not so much but how about Trash Cloak?! and its colored pink?! I dont like the evolutions of this 3 also, Mothim is fine though.
How about combee? a weird one, Stunky and Skuntank isnt pleasing to the eyes. The Hippowdon looks tough, the basic Hippopotas irritable. I havent seen much on diamond & pearl era but the worst Ive seen is Spiritomb? what the heck is that thing? hehe.
Anyway, Ive been an avid fan of tcg but i still plan on collecting cards only up to 3rd generation.. i give respect though to Palkia and Dialga’s appearance and the trio especially to Empoleon. nwy, good luck on the what lies ahead on the future of Pokemon..

Where to start, where to start….
Well, Snivy losing it’s limbs makes complete sense, for one. Look up more on snake biology and you’ll find out why the guys working at Gamefreak who made these Pokemon are considered professionals. It’s because they know their stuff.
Samurott is horrible, I’ll give you that. However, there’s so little resemblance to Swampert that I have to wonder why you even put that there.
Simipour’s hair is nothing like Gaga’s other than color. That made me start thinking “oh, this is a joke article, right?”
I don’t even know why you’re comparing Munna and Musharna to Slowpoke. Because they’re pink? Their design source is the same as Drowzee’s bro.
I don’t see much similarity between Roggenrola’s line and Beldum’s. Beginner has no arms (though Roggenrola has legs), Metang has arms but no legs while Boldore has three legs, and the only solid similarity comes from Gigalith and Metagross being bipedal (which is far from being the same, otherwise we might as well throw Arcanine, Rapidash, Camerupt, Donphan, and other Pokemon in here).
Audino has the same inspiration as Chansey, but other than being pink it’s body structure is fairly different.
Are you really complaining about Timburr’s lines having weapons? How easily we forget that Farfetch’d carries a leak that it uses like a sword/pole, huh?
Tympole’s line has speaker-like things on it’s body. They’re a substitute for warts (an improvement I’d say), and highlight the sound aspects of some frogs/toads.
Not sure what to say about your complaint for Throh and Sawk. They don’t look like Pokemon? The hell do Pokemon look like?
Not sure if I should continue with the rest or not. You’ve made a complaint for damn near every Pokemon from gen 5. As far as designs go, 5 is top tier, alongside 3 for creativity.

That being said, when it comes right down to it, it doesn’t matter whether it’s new or not, people will like what they like. Personally, in each generation there are some that I like and some that I don’t regardless of whether it’s newer or older. This particular generation has many that I hate. This is because the pokemon themselves are boooooring to me. I don’t care what the history of their designs came from, if they’re ugly, THEY’RE UGLY. THE. END. Many of these do seem dull. Their designs? Ugly. Some of them have such ugly appendages or design in general that they don’t even appeal as an exciting creature. Some of them do look like boring remakes. If something’s unoriginal and looks like a cheap copy of something with a few things added then that’s how it is, wash, rinse, repeat, wash, rinse, repeat, wash, rinse, repeat. Some of them are stupid too, what may be original is a very BORING poor original thing that is clearly lacking inspiration. The trashbag absolutely sucks, what next is there going to be? Toilet paper pokemon? Ham-sandwhich pokemon? Your grandma’s dentures pokemon? Surely people must see that these are just plain tacky and lame.
There are some however that I like, the snake starter like I thought was needo because it’s like how a real snake actually evolved, like a lizard with arms and through evolution, the arms disappear. The deers I thought where nice because the original Stantler was ugly for a deer pokemon to me. The zebra idea was good.
A few seemed good but lots, boring, plain and just all out UGLY, not impressed by the legendaries at all either, they don’t seem majestic and mystic, just boring. It does seem as though with each new generation, it is getting less and less interesting and pokemon is losing steam.
Now that is just my opinion. If people don’t agree with me, so what, it’s what I like and what you like. But really, I hate seeing poor people get trashed because they’re different so, GROW THE HECK UP, LEARN TO SPEAK RESPECTFULLY AND GET OVER SOMEONE’S DIFFERENCES!!

I was talking about/to those people who posted replies above me as being rude by the way Bagus Andrayan. You where pretty polite in how you treated people, especially the jerks that where mean to you. Hopefully the next time someone comes on here to post something, they’ll read my post and think twice about what they’re going to say. It doesn’t matter what they think about the newer generation, there’s absolutely NO reason that a person should be talking like that. I randomly came across this place somehow and was just reading it for fun but then I saw how despicably rude people where being all over you sharing an opinion and felt I had to say something because their words appalled me. I hope you take their dumb comments as just that, dumb comments of little 13 year olds, parroting terms and rude words off the internet.

Of course I still enjoy Pokemon even they are so flugy as lady gaga. But it’s just okay to me. Someone who fresh and young need to replace anyone on gamefreak/nintendo/pokemon right now…
